Velux and home automation
VELUX and Netatmo present the system to control roof windows and create a healthier environment. The new smart home solution VELUX ACTIVE with NETATMO, compatible with Apple® HomeKit™, allows you to control your roof windows using your voice or a simple tap from the app.
VELUX ACTIVE with NETATMO is a solution based on sensors that intelligently open and close VELUX INTEGRA® windows, blinds and shutters automatically, improving indoor climate and air quality.
The VELUX INTEGRA® SSL Solar Roller Shutter
The Solar Roller Shutter is a complete home and window protection product. In addition to blackout at any time of day, it allows you to have a better climate in your home, both in summer and winter. In fact, in summer it reduces heat inside the room by up to 94% because it blocks the sun's rays and does not let them reach the glass, while in winter it increases the window's insulation capacity thanks to its insulated aluminium slats. It also provides privacy and is an excellent deterrent against attempted intruders. Thanks to the roller shutter, the window and interior blinds are protected from the cold, sun and weather, and last longer. It can be installed on INTEGRATED solar windows or manual windows.
It can be controlled from your smartphone by adding VELUX ACTIVE, the intelligent system that opens and closes windows, blinds and shutters to improve the climate in your home. The Solar Shutter fulfils the obligation to apply solar shading to glazed surfaces to increase energy savings (Presidential Decree 59/2009).

Flat roof dome
The acrylic or polycarbonate dome can be installed on all flat roof window models and provides excellent value for money. Resistant to weather and hail, it is suitable in contexts where there is no need for a particularly aesthetic appearance on the roof. Thanks to the standard external sensor, it closes by itself when it rains. On the inside it looks like a normal window, while on the outside it can be completed with three different finishes: curved and flat glass, both toughened and self-cleaning, or acrylic or polycarbonate dome. It is fitted with a low-emission glazing and, like a vertical frame, provides excellent thermal and acoustic insulation. Thanks to the external sensor fitted as standard, it closes by itself when it rains To improve interior comfort and keep the rooms dark and up to 78% warmer, the CVP INTEGRA flat roof window can be complemented with an internal blackout or filtering blind, combined with an external sunshade.

Blackout roller blinds are made from a durable polyester fabric to which reflective aluminium film is applied on the outward-facing side. The fabrics of VELUX blackout roller blinds conform to the Oeko-Tex Standard 100 certification.
