Plasterboard: a clean, practical and elegant system

Working with plasterboard is a clean, practical and elegant system; moreover, the structure of which they are composed (plaster pressed between sheets of cardboard) makes it stable, non-deformable and they can be cut and modelled for any attic, even those that are not perfectly square.
Finally, another aesthetically pleasing note is that the grid that supports them has a double face, which allows for a pleasant view when applied.

One of the main advantages of false ceilings is the possibility of concealing all installations i.e. pipes, electrical wires, air conditioning and heating systems, or whatever else, in a single move.

Plasterboard walls and ceilings are always the best, cheapest and quickest solution to use when we decide to renovate the systems in our home. In fact, in this way, we can hide all the installations without intervening significantly on the walls of the house. Another reason why a plasterboard ceiling is often made is the desire to change the lighting and give a more fashionable touch to the house, often by creating special geometries and levels on the ceiling.

Sound insulation

Another reason why false ceilings are made is sound insulation. In fact, by creating a small plasterboard ceiling, it is possible to insulate rooms from the upper floor by inserting insulation material that dampens and reduces noise.

Insulation can also be sought for thermal reasons, by creating a kind of coat on the ceiling to reduce heat loss.
