Acoustic insulation

Acoustic insulators are sound-absorbing materials that dissipate sound energy and ensure a pleasant environment. Ravizza offers sound insulating panels, sound absorbing mats and much more. To ensure good room acoustics and avoid echoes, it is useful to focus on sound-absorbing materials, which prevent the propagation of sound waves thanks to their ability to transform sound energy into heat. Optimal results are often achieved by using sound-insulating materials (such as lead or rubber) in combination with sound-absorbing ones.

Acoustic insulation should always be thought of as a system, so improving the acoustic comfort of the whole house is often not enough if a single application of a partition wall or ceiling is weak and allows sound to find another way (floors-ceilings-other walls). Our technicians will help you choose the best material to solve your acoustic problem. See also the section on thermal insulation.
